Dear colleagues, The Eleven Central trade unions like INTUC,AITUC, BMS, CITU, LPF have given a strike call for 2 days country wide strike on 20-02-2013 and 21-02-2013. National JCA consisting FNPO,
NFPE has also given a call to participate in the above strike. And GDS Unions ,BPEF have also given a call
to participate in the strike.
There are 24 Demands stressing the Central govt. and our Postal department. Some of the demands are
Contain the abnormal price rise of essential commodities, Fill up the all vacant posts, protect labour laws,
abolish new pension scheme, ensure minimum wage Rs.10000/-, scrap the Bonus ceiling, grant all facilities
to GDS at par with regular employees including Bonus, implement sixth pay commission wages to part-time
employees, remove the anomalies in MACP, Drop the National postal policy 2012 paving the way for
privatisation, constitute seventh pay commission, merge 50% DA with basic pay.
The circle union requests all the members to take part in this historical Strike and make grand success.
