The Director Foreign post, chennai proposed to introduce shift system and shifting of Air complex, Meenambakkam work to APSO Complex without taking the views of local unions. Opposing these views strongly our circle union wrote a letter to Chief PMG endorsing copy to Director foreign post. On 20-03-13, Circle secretary G.P.Muthukrishnan, with the Divisional secretary I.Arumugam met the Chief PMG for intervention to stop these measures.Immediately after this we met the DPS Hqrs and discussed the same issue. Again on 27-03-13, Circle secretaries G.P.Muthukrishnan[FNPO], J.Ramamurthy[NFPE], with Divisional secretaries I.Arumugam,[FNPO], D.Roy, met the Chief PMG for the same issue , the Madam
in turn informed us that `Chief PMG will hold meeting with both the Circle secretaries along with Divisional secretaries during the April before taking any decision on the `Proposals of DPS Foreign post`.
