No. NAPE/Dlgs/2017                                                                                              Dated the 21.09.2017

Respected Sir,

Sub :      Request for allocation of funds to Divisions – Reg.
                                                                -----

This is regarding fund allocation to Divisions keeping in view of the unforeseen expenditure beyond the scope of Divisional Heads.

To cite, we are to submit that the supply of stationeries like Computer Sheets and Barcode stickers are procured and supplied by PSD. It has been however in the experience during the past one year that Divisional Heads are instructed to make local purchases when PSD is not having stock. In fact stickers are bought from suppliers by Divisional Heads in CCR.

But the expenditure of these unforeseen and unassessed purchases is incurred in the funds allotted to Divisions. The funds already allotted to the Divisions therefore suffer a huge deficit resulting in depriving of bonafide expenditure pre-planned.

Likewise, the AMC contracts which were hitherto by R.O. level are now being relegated to the level of DIVISION WITHOUT any extra provision in budgetary allocation. The amount already in PO Head for other purposes are diverted for this expenditure which is used to be borne in Regional level.

We, therefore, request your kindself to instruct Divisional Heads to demand more funds under the relevant Head to meet the expenses of above nature and allocate funds without apportioning it from allocation already made for the Divisional level and usual expenditure.

                Thanking you sir

your’s sincerely,

[N.J.Uthayakumaran
