CIRCLE SECRETARY LETTER ON MACP

Madam,                               Sub: Review of the Decision on MACP Scheme – requested

                                           Ref: CO.Memo.No.STA/40-3/MACP/Rlgs/2009 dt.07-09-12

As per  the reference cited above ,  the decision  has been circulated by the Circle office that,  the   further  MACP   will not  be granted  to  the  officials  declined   the `Regular promotion` irrespective of the dates like prior to 01-09-2008 or later.

In this regard my  Circle union want to submit to the kind notice of the Chief PMG that

the Department order, File No.4-7/(MACPS)/2009-PCC dt.18-9-09,  clearly  states that

the  MACPS  has  come in to operation w.e.f.01-09-2008.

When  the order  itself  takes  effect  from  01-09-2008,  without any retrospective note,  how the provisions of  that order  can be applied even to the cases prior to 01-09-2008 ?

Therefore my Circle union request the Chief PMG to kindly review this order and it may

please be ensured that the Clauses of MACP Scheme takes effect only from 01-09-2008.
